The Woodcraft Folk is a National educational movement for children from the age of 6 to young adults. The movement was formed in 1925 based on the core ideas of peace, equality and co-operation. We hold weekly meetings during school term times when we play co-operative games, sing songs, dance and do craftwork linked to Woodcraft themes. As children progress in the Folk they work towards badges covering topics such as the natural world, drama, health, camping, other countries, and the environment. We also meet regularly for rambles, and weekends away to hostels or Woodcraft activity centres.
